Distribution Company — Landscape Materials (Arizona)

Their POS couldn't feed a website. We built the pipeline that could.

Situation

An Arizona distributor of landscape materials wanted a real e-commerce-grade website — and neither their point-of-sale system nor their existing site held product data clean or complete enough to build one. The data existed in pieces: some in the POS, some on the old site, some only with vendors. No single source could feed a modern storefront.

Intervention

We partnered with Canto and built a custom interface that does what an off-the-shelf contract wouldn't: exports from their POS, runs AI analytics across the catalog, pulls what was usable from their existing website, folds in vendor data, and assembles a final, reconciled product record that now lives in Canto — the single source of truth their new website will be built on.

Outcome

One clean product catalog where there were four partial ones, ready to power the new site — and about

0,000 saved by building the integration our way instead of signing the standard API-infrastructure contract. The real payoff comes next: a storefront built on data the business can finally trust.

Human-first by design

AI is the tool. People are the point.

I use AI to make good people faster, sharper, and harder to beat — never to replace them. Better, faster, stronger: the goal is a business that grows and hires more humans, not fewer.
